Mine is the Obsidian. In real life it is glossy jet black with a fair amount of orange peel, like most every car nowdays. Years of polishing and waxing makes it go away!

Any 2010 owners out there who can give a recap/update of their ownership experience so far?

I've been looking at the new model and am considering replacing my '07 (it's been trouble free for nearly 4 years).

Also looking at the '10 Infiniti G37x which has some very good pricing right now.

The Infiniti is looking good price wise because of the $1500 factory to dealer incentive right now. Historically they do not hold their value nearly as well as the Lexus. Haven't checked the history on that particular vehicle but usually anytime they have a factory to dealer incentive this early in the model year it's because of a pending model/body style change coming.

My 10' ES350 is doing just fine now with almost 4K miles on it. Getting good mpg and ride is just super. The Matador Red is still getting looks. You just don't see many in this color. Very happy with our decision.

Congrats, great color, but rush to get the invisible clear shield to keep the car immaculate. Any pictures of the interior ?

congrats on the purchase. i agree with Blueshark. i regret not having my car with the clearbra as soon as i purchased it. im glad to hear that lexus got rid of the rattles in the '10 es. in fact that was one of the reasons one of my friends traded her '08 es for the '10 model. im happy , shes happy and her kids are happy.

In Black .. looks great .. "1000 songs on the 6 CD's", all of my 6 CDs are all MP3s .. isn't life just great now !!

i am very happy with my ES great car - only one problem - my car seats do not heat up - maximum i get is WARM
otherwise great car - very happy with purchase
