Default Repairing underhood engine cover tab

I popped back in the battery cover and damaged a tab. I can't seem to find a glue that will hold it. Any ideas?

I wonder if you can buy replacement tabs at an auto supply store? Other cars have these covers, so maybe they have replacements.

Engine covers are a pain. I've broken one or two of them on my car while trying to get at things..

i replaced all of my engine cover tabs from my local Kragen auto parts store. Some of the tabs were already broken. The replacements that i got are more resilient to breaking off and are better to remove/replace.

It took me a bit to figure out the exact ones that fit my car.

Do the tabs come in different sizes - Or do they work differently? Thanks..
