I cannot convince myself to spend $400 or so to have the dealer install a lip spoiler but like the way they look on the car. Anyone ever order one online and install it yourself??

Buy the spolier on line / have your local garage or non Lexus body shop install. Getting some minor work done on our ES350 by local Ford body shop because they do excellent work and they are within walking distance to our home.

Just buy it for cheap on ebay when live.com cashback goes back up again and then have it installed by a body shop. That's what I did!

thats another debate i have had.. .if Im doing to put on the spoiler.. i dont want the crap sticker install, i want it drilled and put on there for the life of the car.

Remember to have the spoiler installed you will need the template that is sold separately from the spoiler. A parts guy at my dealer was kind enough to loan it to me so the holes could be drilled in the exact spot where they should be drilled.

yeah.. that installation kit is like 40 bucks from lexus, it has some other stuff too, aparantly when you install the spoiler you are supposed to do something to something way inside the trunk, I forget but its like moving a hinge front one setting to another, Its pretty weird, but its in the installation guide.
