Smile Just Purchased New 08 ES 350

Hello! I just purchased a brand new '08 ES 350 with the Premium Package and I absolutely love the car. The meticulous attention to detail and the level of precision engineering applied to this vehicle is unbelieveble. Although this is my first post here on CL, I have been monitoring these forums for a number of years now. I am extremely excited about this car!

I have been driving ES's (3 of them) since 1999, and still feel a sense of satisfaction EVERY DAY I drive it that I never experienced with any other car I have owned.

Just curious, what else have you had?

Congrats. I just bought mine as well. Picked it up Wednesday. A fine car.

Had to get the Royal Ruby before the color changed for 09.

Congrats on the Royal Ruby. It's a great color. I like the Matador Red on the IS and GS, but can't picture it on the ES. Need to see one in person.

That's exactly how I felt. I couldn't imagine it on the ES.

Thanks. I picked my car up the same day as you. I strongly considered the Royal Ruby metallic myself but went with the starfire pearl instead. I only have just over 400 miles on the car, but everything has been flawless so far. And the six speed automatic is unbelieveably smooth. I can't detect any change in gears.

Funny I almost bought the Starfire Pearl. It's very nice.

I thought mine was flawless till I went over it with a fine tooth comb today. I realized it has curb rash/scratch on one of the chrome wheels. I'm the only one who has driven it since I picked it up and I have not rubbed or hit anything believe me. Only thing I can guess is they did it when they took it to get the offsite XM or tinting installed prior to my picking it up. Problem is if I tell the salesman now no way he is going to believe I didn't do it. I guess I'm stuck trying to repair it mysself. Bummer. Otherwise car is flawless.

I also bought the Starfire Pearl and absolutely love my car, I only put in 214 miles since I bought it last Saturday... I guess I didn't drive the car as much as I should have :-)
