Has anyone else experienced an audio delay in their Bluetooth? It is my first Bluetooth device and I am wondering if this is normal or maybe it's just my phone. My wife and I do this stupid "you say 'now' when I say 'now' " thing and have noticed there is about a one second delay. It gets pretty annoying having a conversation using the bluetooth because the person on the other end thinks that they lost you and starts the usual "hello? are u there?".

I may "step" on the other caller sometimes, but I don't think that is the blue tooth, but the phone service itself.

I think it is a bluetooth thing and it's pretty annoying. My phone only does it when using the bluetooth connection in the car. It is enough of an issue that if the call I am making is important I often stop the car and turn it off. I tried just turning off the radio but when you make the call the system turns itself on.

An on a side note - I was having my car serviced a while ago and while the technician had his computer hooked up to my car I received a couple of calls and even though I was a pretty good distance away from the car in the waiting room the calls went to the car and I couldn't answer either one of them. It was actually kind of funny watching the tech try to figure out what he might do to help me - without success.

The answer to both of these issues is to turn the bluetooth connection off on the phone but frequently when I do this the radio connection has to be redone which is also a pain.

I think it's a cellular thing.

This is definitely not a Bluetooth issue. Bluetooth operates in a very narrow band, at a very short distance (up to 30 feet for a reliable signal). You can't change the law of physics by "slowing down" a signal. The issue is celluar network caused and not with the Lexus or with Bluetooth itself.
