Default CD Player Error

My CD player stopped playing this moring. I tried to eject the CD, any CD, or all CD's and it can't eject. An error code comes on the display "ERROR 3". I was playing CD's last night. I called the dealer, waiting for a call back, and they say it probably needs to be replaced. Any ideas?

The error 3 message is some kind of code, and I think that only the dealer is going to know what that means. Sorry to hear that it happened, but it seems your dealer is going to be the one to help you on this one. That is what the warranty is for. Good luck

The unit will be replaced. An Error 3 or 4 means that the unit needs be replaced. A new unit will be ordered and installed, approx. 5 days, and the old one returned to the factory where my CD's will be extracted and returned. The dealer has been great.

5 days and the car was ready. CD's have been returned and all is well. I did discover that someone named Barbara was the prior "owner" of the unit. Her phone numbers were still stored. I called Barbara and she was shocked, she also lives back east, I'm on the west coast. Called the dealer and they were shocked that Pioneer hadn't reset the phone. Anyway, I now know that my replacement unit is a "refurbished" unit. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I guess if it works, what's the difference?

How does one store phone numbers on the CD player?

Can I use it as a notepad too?
