Default Trip computer accuracy

Has anyone come up with a good estimate (guestimate?) regarding the accuracy of the trip computer in the ES350?

The computer in my 04 4Runner consistantly lies about my fuel mileage to the tune of exagerating about 2.5 MPG. While the one in the ES350 isn't that bad, it does seem to be somewhat inflationary, too.

It's very hard to get any consistency, but I've been calculating the mileage for about 1500 miles and if I had to guess about the accuracy, I'd peg it at about 1.5 MPG to the generous side.

Anyone else?

Mine seems to be accurate to within 1 mpg. An important point is to not depend upon the trip average mpg meter until you've driven at least an hour after resetting it. It seems to take a while to settle down into an accurate reading.
