Really, think about it. You'd give a 16 yr old who basicly doesn't know how to really drive a car yet something that powerful, relatively big and regardless how rich you are (except maybe the top .2% = billionaire) expensive car to drive? Wait didn't i say "If I had unlimited $$ I would buy my kid the ES350?" Im concerned about safety and reliability that's what im saying.

hmmmm what would happen .. 1995 es 300 vs. 2006 C280???

IS350 is quite a bit smaller and looks a bit too cute for a grown man to drive. Don't wanna be too crammed in there during a long drive.

you shouldnt go for a ES350 if you're 16. i'm 18 and my dad bought me a ES350. i love it, but its definately not my top 20 choices. if your dad lets you should go for the IS or another nice RWD you can have alotta fun with. ES350 is luxury you can't play with.

An IS would be a much better choice for you, anwar1337, but I would wait at least a year or so until your road skills are more polished to get any brand new luxury car. I am assuming that you just get your driver's license, right? But if you dad has the $$$$$ that's fine too.
