Typical Lexus-bashing. The common argument is that the ES is a re-badged Camry. I would agree that most ES bashers probably have never driven them or been driven in them. I think that if the ES offered AWD it would be a better car head to head than the RL and still come in at least $5k less.

I think Car and Driver and Automoble mags are all about horsepower and speed. They seem to always have articles on mucle cars or expensive exotic cars. I quit buying them, especially when they defend big oil. In my opinion Consumer Reports is the only good magizine on cars and everything else.

And the funny thing is, Acura doesn't list the ES as an RL competitor lol. Not bad for the Lexus name "The entry model ES350 from Lexus surpasses the flagship model from Acura, the RL in terms of value, luxury and features).
