Meh, I call my ES a tarted up Camry and my wife's RX a lifted Camry. With leather. The Lexus variants are quieter and have nicer feeling interior bits. I honestly don't think the build quality is any better. Both of our Lexus vehicles have had some serious fit and finish issues, more so than my previous Subaru believe it or not.

I suppose it's just the luck of the draw, but I had a 2007 and a 2010 ES350 and both were rock solid and bullet proof. Not a squeak or a rattle in either of them. In fact, neither of them had to go back to the dealership for any warranty or service bulletin work. I'm sure that I was lucky. I don't have a lexus now but would buy another in a heartbeat.
