Default Quick questions

Just signed up for a Tungsten Pearl today, should be getting it in a week or two. Was in love with the IS- until I sat in it and drove it! My lease price was the same as an IS AWD and there really is no comparison. IS is a pig exceleration wise, and there is no inside room with a ton of bind spots.

A few questions- Any technical issues with Bluetooth? Supposedly this is the first model that's offering it through the stereo instead of through the NAV. I'll be using Verizon RAZR. and (2) Does the ES have the same LED license plate lighting in the back as other models? Love the way that looks on a light car at night!

Look forward to hearing your comments.

Thanks

1. The bluetooth works perfect except you cannot control the phone from the Nav screen when the car is moving unless you do "the hack".
2. I have heard some issue about Verizon phones. You might do a search. I could be wrong.
3. Bright blue-white LED's on the license. Are you getting the HID headlights too?

There is a slight blind spot on the rear quarters. Just be carefult to look. Are you getting the UL with the Nav and the Levinson?

I have Verizon and it works perfectly with my BT. The only issue is the fact Verizon disables the transfer data feature so you can't download your phone book to the car. I haven't taken the time to enter the numbers manually. But I have found that if I hit speed dial on my phone it automatically transfers over to the car. Pretty cool. And much quicker than going through the voice commands.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I didnt go NAV and/or ML. The dealer did mention that the ES is making bluetooth available through the radio if u don't have NAV, the first model to do so. The Manager of the dealership is a close friend so I haven't seen the exact example yet, he did mention that about 9 out of 10 ES's coming in to the dealership have HID.

Any technical or mechanical issues so far?

That would make sense since the Camry gets bluetooth without having to go with the nav option (at least here in Canada).
