The ES 350 causes people to stare
It's nice being one of very few ES 350's actually on the road. So few, I have yet to see another, although I know my dealer has sold north of 25 already. Unlike my 2002 which no one ever seemed to stare at, everyone seems to look at my SMG ES 350 as I drive by. Anyone else experiencing this ?

Thats nice. Its pretty obvious that Lexus has hit the nail on top of its head with the new ES. Although I only saw it in person at the autoshow, I thought it looked great!!!

I hadn't really noticed the head-turning until today. I drive to work when it's still dark, and driving home from work it's mid-afternoon and there's not too many people out. But I really noticed the car's effect on folks when I took a drive to the mall today. Had a RX300 driver beside me speed up and slow down to look the car all over. The best moment came when I had to stop at a light by a gas station. Three teenage boys lowered the "car wash" signs they were waiving around to stare at my car.
The last car I drove that had this effect was an '02 Jag X-Type (but that car was a total disaster othewise for me.)

Defineately a 'wow' factor going on here w/ the ruby red just sparkling in the sun, thou it turns maroon after dark. But all my neighbors have been coming over to check it out and everyone is blown away. Including the BMW, Acura, MB & Infiniti owners, especially the beauty, luxury, quality & features (they know theirs drives better, all RW drives.) And at work I've heard 'congradulations' from at least 3oo ppl., as once you've seen it, you can't help but talk about it. (ok I'll shut-up...)

That's pretty cool. Keep describing, I want to live vicariously through your New ES experience, at least until I get a new Lexus, this time all my own .
I think the New ES looks very unique--one thing about those L-Finesse designs, they look quite different depending on the angle. It's visually arresting and interesting...I think also some of the ES cues reflect the FWD setup, which is interesting as well.
