I know this might not mean much, but Toyota is offering 2k off SRP on Camry's as well. Not sure why, but when you compare the two in all practical reality the Lex is not worth 10k over the Camry. It would seem to be if they are discounting the Camrys already, they should do the same on the ES. From a strategic perspective, this makes sense. You don't want the sibling car to cut too much into your sales market.

Car market don't work like this. Manufacturer don't control the final price. It is the local dealer doing the discount and determine the final price of each deal. If a car is hot, they will not discount unless they have other reasons (they know you, they like you or more likely they like your continuous business). As a shopper, it is easier to just get a quote from all the dealers near you and whatever the best price you can get is the local price. And if you find somewhere else has a better price than you can buy it from out of town .

guys go to fleetrates.com you can get the infamous es350 for 1500 over the invoice. stop paying msrp. good luck

This is a great forum. I just bought my ultra with nav/levinson, preferred package and spoiler for approx $39800 including destination but excluding all other fees. I bought it through Ron Coury at Stevens Creek Lexus. I have to say this was the most pleasant car shopping experience ever. Ron is a low pressure guy who was very patient with me; I didn't know what I even wanted when I walked in the door. It took about 3 weeks of research before I purchased my es! Ron is the best of both worlds....low pressure and low pricing!

It drives like a dream, and I highly recommend Ron (he's the Internet specialist) and the dealership!

Would you consider $35,000 a good price for an ES350 with the Premium Package? I have driven an Avalon for 10 years and hope to make a decision this month on something new.

35000 is an excellent price. we paid 36000 2 weeks ago.

edit: We actually got the premium plus, i thought we only got the premium.

No tax and fees, 36k was the selling price with the premium plus package. Ask for Peter or Sonny at Glendale Lexus. or just PM "Lexus of Glendale"

Stevens creek is only offering 38k for premium plus. I was hoping for 36k, what dealer did you purchase at?

38k is full msrp isn't it? No Navi, just the premium plus package, preferred accessories package, rear sunshade, BT, and HIDs. We got the ES at Lexus of Glendale, just PM "Lexus of Glendale" and Peter will help you out.

I went in to Park Place Lexus-Grapevine (Texas) on Saturday to just test drive an ES 350 and they were having tax incentives for Memorial Day weekend. I am presently leasing a 2003 Toyota Celica and my lease wasn't up until January 2007. Four hours later, I had leased a 2007 ES 350 -- Crystal White w/gray interior, Premium Plus Package -- for a total price of $37,629. It's only a 3-year lease (I put down $3000) and my payments are only $135 more per month than what I was paying on my Celica. The car is being shipped from Japan to California as we speak and I should have it in about two weeks. I was extremely pleased with the sales people and the dealership. I can't imagine dealing with anyone but Lexus from now on.


PS: Also included in that price was the rear spoiler and window tint.

When you lease a car, your goal should be to put 0 dollars down. Its just a lease and if you total the car somehow you are out of the $3000 that you put down.

I really, really wanted out of that Toyota lease and I really, really wanted a new Lexus. I guess my eyes glazed over. I didn't put down anything when I leased the Celica though.
