We bought a white 2007 ES 350 with the premium package. We love the car as it is Lexus quite and drives outstanding. We first were going to buy a 2006 LX 430 but we actually liked the way the new ES drove better. I bet the new LX 430 will have dramatic improvements.

We traded in a 2006 GS 300 which we did not like. The car rode very rough with low profile tires and was very noisy especially compared to the other 7 Lexus's we have owned. It was a real disappointment. The ES 350 is far superior and cheaper.

i bet the ES doesnt feel cheaper. It rides like a much more expensive car.

It seems that Loophole is not the only person that traded in a 2006 GS300 or AWD model for the ES350. I know personally about 3 people who have done this also, mainly because of the ride quality, rattles, and small trunk and cockpit. In fact my dealer is loaded with low mileage, certified '06 GS's that were traded in for just those reasons.

heh trade in an GS300 for an ES350...i think i should do that with the 04GS...since it is just sitting there with very low miles...about 12k for a car that is almost 3 years old....come january...

We purchased the new White Pearl with pickup on Sept 2. We ended up with the Premium Plus package. I would have preferred the Ultra Premium, but it would have meant waiting another month, and I just couldn't wait. This is our first Lexus and we love it. We traded my wife's 03 Tahoe. She was reluctant at first (she was an SUV person for many years), but when I asked how she liked the car after the first week, she said she would never drive anything but a Lexus.

I picked up my ruby red ES 350 with light grey interior on 4/28/06. Love the color. It has the premium package + addtl. options. Love the ventilated seats. I've had a recent problem and that is how I found this site. I'm posting details about my problem (push button start) on another thread.

Early '06: We're in the market for a car. Shopped around and almost bought the '07 Toyota Avalon, but decided to make one more stop at Lexus. At Lexus dealer, all we saw were the ES330 until the the salesman showed us brochures of the ES 350. We waited until April for the new breed to come in; and trust me, it was worth the wait. The dealer we went to didn't have the car we wanted; black on biege that's fully loaded: Nav, ML, panaramic view and rims. They had to drive to another deliver (~100 each way) got the car we wanted, put it on a truck bed and brought it back. One thing i'm disappointed about is the rims. I saw the spider rims on the brochure, but have yet to see it anywhere, even the dealer.

The tiniting is tight, but in Cali, it's illegal to tint the front windows. What's your plan if you get pulled over? I was going to do 25, but had resort to 35 which is still pushing it.
