Okay, I'm done. Sorry for all the photos. Can you tell I am in Love?
Hey CaBlonde. Nice tints you got there. Do you mind telling me the % for the front and rear and back window (assuming you got tints for 5 windows)? Also where you get the tint at.. Thanks

I was trying to avoid answering this question because I was a bad girl and got 20% all around, except the windshield, of course. Hope there are no policemen reading this.

I got it tinted at a place called Sun Dimmers. They do a beautiful job. High quality work. This is my 5th car tinted by them.

I see. I am trying to decide what tint levels I want to get if I am getting one for the front windows. Probably would wait till end of summer as we are just few weeks away and I think i could score a better deal then.

20%, wow it looks really good with your UL sunroof. Spoiler adds a nice touch too!!! I will be getting mine Tungsten Pearl tinted in two weeks, and was actually thinking about 35% all around (front windows too). Still haven't decided yet, will have to see a sample against the window. Since I have a black interior, I might just stay on a safe side and get something between 35% and 50%.

Always forgetting to post about my car...

2007 Tungsten Pearl (06/06 build).
Fully LOADED Premium Plus w/additional options and Preferred Accessory package - everything except for NAV (not ready for this one yet )

My price was $2k below MSRP (good deal in Central Jersey by the shore where we ONLY got one Lexus dealer covering a HUGE area).

Pictures to follow after I get it tinted.

Yeah, since you have black interior, I would not recommend 20%. It may be so dark inside that you may not even see the stearing wheel in front of you. I have light grey interior so the tint toned down the brightness. Before tinting, it became almost blinding while driving when the sun was blazing outside .

I can only imagine that!!! Even without UL sunroof, car gets a lot of light inside. I had to put my daugther's car seat right in the middle away from windows cause sun is bothering her. Often, I even have to close sunroof shade. Therefore, tinting will serve a dual purpose in here: to make daddy look cool in the car, and to make my baby girl feel cool in the car No way am I'm putting any of those "baby-on-board" pull down shades or suction cup mesh shades. Beside, those don't fit in the rear window anyway...

welcome on board, jtrain73. Another SGM. I think we should do a poll count on the colors. I know we probably have more than 5 SGMs.

Twister - did you get your car at Catena? I was looking there but they told me flat out they would only give me rock bottome wholesale for my trade no matter what shape it was in so i crossed them off my list.

Brand new to the forum.

Purchased my SGM w/ lt gray interior on 6/30. Prem + package.
Got about $1500 off MSRP and a decent trade in on my (of all things) 97 GMC 1500.
I decided to go luxury and loving it!!

Welcome to the Lexus Family Mike. Wow, what's with this baby boom of all these SGMs lately? I am starting to feel like a minority. Uh oh, I feel a poll coming on.
