Default Tires?

Does anyone know what All Season tires are coming with the non-ultra package cars? I've had an excellent experience with the Yokohama Avid V4s on my Maxima in the same size, and I'd likely swap out whatever is coming on my Premium ES350 next week (after a winter or so.) That may make the ES350 that much sportier! We picked Smoky Granite Mica with the Black interior, and I'm geeked about what others are saying about this color.

My first choice on an ES350 had Michelin MXV4's on it.

Can you post some pics? I'm leaning towards either the Smokey Granite or Tungsten Pearl now and I want to see the Smoky Granite before deciding and placing my order.

Absolutely. My car is scheduled to arrive by 5/3 at the latest. Going to the dealer last night, they had one there, but it was rather late at night, so pics would have been a waste.

I saw a new black ES with Nav yesterday that had Toyo's on it... Any comments on Toyo? I don't know anything about Toyo...

My car came equipped with Toyo Proxes J33 tires. I was a bit concerned as this was the exact model of tires that came on my 2002 ES which exhibited quite a bit of road noise and were replaced with Michelin Energy MVX4's under a "silent recall" by the dealer. Those Michelins were great. The salesman said that all of their ES 350s were coming with those Toyo tires. Fortunately, this set is perfectly quiet, and I'm quite happy with them. Looking on Toyo's USA web site, I see the Proxes J33s are not sold here but are in Japan.

Oh, and speaking of the tires on my new ES 350 - next day when they were cold, I checked their pressure. All were pretty over-inflated at 38 psi. Door panel sticker recommends 30 psi. No wonder my car was riding much firmer than the demo! Deflated them to 32 psi where I like it and the ride noticeably improved.
