New ES 350 Advertising
In what is the first print advertising I have seen in trade magazines where Lexus is officially presenting the 2007 ES 350 and the 2006 ES 330 is nowhere to be found, this months Vanity Fair ("The Green Issue" May 2006) has a 4 page, removable, ad of the new 350. I guess they know I'll probably keep it. Or take it to show someone.
On page one, which is a translucent, a silver ES is in the middle with a headline that says "What's obvious to your ears is discreetly hidden from your eyes". You look down at a 45 degree angle on the ES.
Open to page 3 is regular photograph of the same car and it says:
ES 350
WELCOME TO THE MOST SOPHISTICATED AUDIO SYSTEM YOU'LL NEVER SEE.
Fourteen speakers surround you, specifically and subtly placed to take advantage of the contours and textures within the cabin. Their location revealed richly, precisely to the ear. This is the Mark Levinson(r) Premium Surround Sound System. And its but one of the many meticulously designed systems offered in the 2007 ES 350. A car engineered for your senses as much as it is for the road ahead.
An Entirely new ES. The ES 350.
On Page 4 is an interior view of the cabin, both front and back seats, equipped with the premium package and the following:
ES 350
The sound system in the entirely new ES 350 speaks to your ears. But your eyes, your touch and your sense of comfort have not been disregarded in the least. It's a car that's been designed around you, not in spite ofyou. For a better sense of this remarkable vehichle, please visit TheALLNEWES.com .

Regrettably, I dont have a scanner. Hopefully, someone can scan it for us. I bet we will start seeing the same ad in quite a few places in the coming months.

It works, thx.
Here is an ad I scanned today from Money Magazine...looks sweet. Note the panoramic roof model is shown without being mentioned...subtile.
I like the current new Lexus ads, very minimalist yet powerful. The text fits in with the font on the Gen 5 NAVI, too. It's very beautifully photographed and top-class, if not too attention-getting. Very classy and elegant, yet modern. This goes too for the more verbose recent GS 450h ads, which follow a similar pattern but extend it some.
All in all, I think this is a worthy sequel to the original Lexus debut ads. Finally a unified style that is distinctive and powerful for the #1 luxury automaker.
A nice debut ad...

Here are 2 more ads I found recently.
I like the ES 350 the more I see it on the road...saw first one with the panoramic roof yesterday, in a amethyst pearl-like color, reminding me of our old ES.
