I thought its always been that big. Doesnt seem like much has changed to me. Price wise(except the Ultra PK adds roughly 3-4 grand on the top end compared to a fully loaded 2006 model.

Yup, the ES350 is worth every penny over the Camry with the better build quality, materials, sound insulation etc. I don't think anyone who can afford the ES should even consider the Camry. Even on looks inside & out alone I would take the ES, it looks unquestionably a class above.

Wow that pricing is waay too much. 43k+ for an ES350 thats crazyness!!

You get a GS for that price.

If Lexus wanted value they would have made it 40k MAX for all options.

I expected a fully loaded one w/o nav and ML to be around 37k(w/ ulltra lux pkg and HID and all the other little stuff).

I would spend no more than 35k on an ES, anything more I would look at the new G35 which is very hot!!

just my .02c...
PS: I am not considiring getting either car(just got a BMW 3er + RX350).

Talking $43k

$43K for a GS, but that would probably be a base GS. Equip the GS with all the bells and whistles and you're talking way over $50K. It's a 'big' jump in price from previous generation to this generation, but top-of-the-line comparo, you get a whole lot more in this model than last. Essentially, it's $5K more for the ES350 over the ES330. I'd take the 350 over the 330 any day. If you can squeeze $38K out of your pocket, you can sqeeze $43K...

ES, the new real Zoom Zoom Zoom...
