Es 300 with 18 x 8.5 wheels
here are the pics they are Weld Evo One piece forged. They manufactuer them here in Kansas city. at the current time I have Eibach springs, kyb struts, tinted windows, 12 disc changer , And the sunroof deflector, ( am not sure I like it and may take it off What does everyone think)
I have ordered a strut bar and sway braces and am renting the tool to roll the fender. I know some can roll it with a bat but I think for 60.00 I would spend it instead of taking a chance.

Tasteful selection of wheels, I'm liking it As far as the sunroof deflector, that's pretty much up to you. I personally would take it off to maintain the exterior styling of the ES

Yeah the deflector has to go, the stock spoiler that pops up works just peachy.
Good call ordering the tool, better than taking a chance eh? $60 to ensure no mistakes and everything is even aint a bad deal. Just don't roll to much, IMHO you're close now, they just need to be out a bit more to get those wheels looking real good.

Very nice! Zutoo has 19" Giovanna Kobes that look very similiar.
What is the offset of your rim? How is the 8.5" wide rim doing now? Are you experiencing serious rubbing?
As for the sunroof deflector- Like lexusk8, it's up to you, but I would personally remove it because it takes away from the ES's 'smooth roof lines'.

Rims
The rims are great no a whole lot of rubbing just on hard cornering and when its loaded down you can hear scrapes. it is catching the tire on the edge. the fender roll should take care of that and the sway and strut bars should help the cornering. I did have to use a spacer on the rear, I used a 4 mm I saw a post that recomended a 5mm.
after I get ther mods done I will let everyone know how it turns out.

i have 18x7.5 rims on my 92 ES and i was having rubbing problems too when i cornered or had the back loaded down. to fix this problem without rolling or shaving the fenders, i simply removed the plastic piece that goes along the edge of the back fenders. it's secured by about 4 or 5 screws and removes very easily. i dont have any problems with the fender rubbing on the side of the tire anymore no matter how full my car is. i understand you rims are 18x8.5, however, so this may not help you out. just thought i'd let ya know!

Thank you. I will look at that when I pull my wheels off I know I need to roll my fenders because it is scrapping on my tires. But I will also see if it rubs on the plastic spot you are talking about.
Thanks

Chuck - Looks great! I am looking into KYB shocks and Eibach springs, but I do not want to kill the ride. Hows your car ride?

18" rims
The riide is a little stiffer but well worht it. they car has 90k , 9 yrs old and I am sure it needed. I would recommend it.
I got a incredible deal on the wheels but even if I had to pay full price I would defanitly get them I have toured the plant and it is incredible. Greg Weld who owns Weld wheels is an ex race car driver an knows his stuff. the ride actually improved with the wheels and tires , I then added the springs and struts and was hoping for another improvement. It was not as much as I hoped for , A little tighter and stiffer but well worth it. I hope the sways and strut bars help when I get them in next week. I will let everyone know
