Strut/spring installers....???
I plan on swapping my stock srings for the Eibach pro-kit. I'm wanting to do it myself. I removed one front tire & looked at my setup yesterday. To remove the strut/spring, will just need to remove the upper 3 strut tower nuts(in engine compartment), then the narrow suppor rod that is parallel to the strut(behind wheel)? Or will I need to remove more parts like the braking mechanism?

To remove the strut.
the 3 bolt on top
the sway bar link
couple of small bolt for the brake lines
and 2 big bolt/nut that connects to the strut to the wheel upright.
Now the fun begins.
you have to use an spring compressor to hold downt he springs.
use an impact wrench to crack open the strut center shaft bolt to remove the spring seat cap.
Not that hard compare to other cars..

This is the same steps as the Volvo 850, very straight forward. The only difficult part is to unloose the center nut on the strut shaft after the spring is compressed.
