I've seen big rims on an ES and it is absolutely horrific. They were some ghetto type crap, but even top quality 20s will look out of place IMO.

Those niche rims look dope. I would go with those. As for the 20's, don't do it. Make the car look classy, 20's will just ghetto it out. Largest I would go is 18's on the 97ES.

I looked at the Niche but didn't like that angle on the spoke so I opted for the Enkei LM 1/5S.
The tire dude wanted to go 20s but I went with 18's

If the Enkei's are too much, Tire Rack sells some nice Moda (made by BBS) wheels in a similar style, as well as some Mille Miglias in a chrome 5-spoke (check the gallery for pics of the chrome Mille's on Kyle Harty's car). I've got Milles, but they're a little more of a sporty style--they're split 5 spokes in clearcoat silver.

P.S. I know I promised pics of my wheels to everybody here, and I took great ones after washing the car a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, the sync cable for my digicam is missing, and it's too archaic to have removeable media. I'll try to borrow a more modern one from a buddy. Time for sleep, leave for the office in 7 hours...

go to the website, right click the pic you want, save to your desktop.

under post reply here, there is a box where you click on browse and find you pick on the desktop then click on open. if the pic is within allowable size limits it will post up.
(hint, learn this stuff if you are opening a website, you will be asked by you members that don't know)

The Enkeis were $1299.00 USD for all 4. (18") that comes out to $324 and change each.

I also looked at the Mille chrome 5 spoke but felt the spokes where too thin, and it would show too much of the stock brakes. Now if i were to changed to Baer or Brembos drilled/slotted rotors then that would have been different.

Wow! I was under the impression Enkei's were far more expensive ( at least they look it ) that's why I never considered any Enkei wheels. Regardless, your RIMS are beautiful

The Enkei LM's and Mille Migglia EVO 5's are my favorite rims on ES300's. The EVO 5's are also a very nice fit and available in 18's and 19's.

Steviej, I don't know much about the LM's; what are the available rim sizes, widths, and offsets?

thanks!

LexDiamond- I agree with the others, stay with 18's. However, if you opt for a body kit down the road, then 19's or even 20's would help fill the wells better.
