Default Question about TSBs

Aside from the fact that a TSB lets you know the problems that have been formally recognized by Lexus, if you don't have a factory warranty will the dealer still take care of the problem for free?

If you exceed the mileage according to the limits stated on the warranty, then technically anything that's repaired or replaced on your car will be out of your pocket (except of course for things covered by insurance). However with TSBs on hand, you can probably get away with a deal or discount on a certain repair job from the dealership, as long as you make a good case out of it. Your relationship with the service people from the 'ship also plays a role.

That info is correct. And alot of the TSB's issued are usually not sent out by Lexus themselves. Some of those are issued by NHTSA through complaints submitted to them.
