I have 35% all around and would definitely have gone with 20% if I had to do it again. 35% is noticeable, but not dark enough when it's sunny. Since you can't get your front tinted (too dark, anyways), I would recommend 50% since it's not very noticeable and it looks weird only having the rears done. However, if you're tinting the front 50%, I would also go with 35% in the rear so it doesn't look too out of balance.

ok so m thinking of having ma ES tint. but i m not sure what %.Here is the rule.: I cant have front windows tint due to law, which i just hate but thats how it is ..anyways so what %tint would you guys think would look good. i dont want too dark since the front windows aint getting tinted. So dont want to look like the ES is a taxi car. maybe 35%?...its a white exterior colour.

Need your advice! (Tint Problem)
Hey guys,
I had this tint installed three weeks ago and the tint looks great. All of the bubbles dried out in the first week, but this strip along the dot matrix just looks like crap to me. Since I got the tint installed I have been parking my car outside at work and letting the sun work on the tint, but I don't think it's going to get any better.
Anyway, I want to see what you guys think of this area because I would really like to get this fixed.

1. the tint job should not have tinted over such a big dot matrix, the tint doesnt do good adhering to the glass.
2. press down real hard with fingers all over so the adhesive can touch the glass part to not make it white anymore.

Hey guys,
Well I called the shop owner and talked to him about what was going on and I am bringing the car back to his shop next monday. He told me that this area is a problem area on cars that have a dot matrix strip this large and that he will do his best to improve the problem. However, I really wish he would have said something about this before going through with the job in the first place.
If he is unable to get it looking right I will probably have him cut the tint at the dot matrix and install a sheet of vinyl as it has a better adhesive and will stick to the dots better.
Next week I will be sure to give you guys an update.
