keys, stuck rear window, and odd sound when turning
Hi, I just purchased a 2005 Lexus ES330 and have been noticing some problems. The seller only had one valet key and so I am wondering if it is necessary to have the master key to be able to program a remote key purchased from amazon/ebay/etc. The Lexus dealership has told me I would need to reflash my car's system ($150) and then getting a programmed master key from them would cost $418. Is there any other cheaper route to go? Can I purchase a normal blank key and just have it cut? If so, how would I program in the transponder?
My rear left window is also stuck or dead and doesn't go up or down when I press the button from the front. I already tried slamming the car door a few times in an attempt to make it work.
Lastly, when I turn left or right all the way, the car makes a noticeable/loud humming or rumbling noise. If anyone has any ideas on how to help, I will be grateful!
Thanks in advance.

If you are talking about buying and programming a key fob, no, they're lying to you, you don't need the master key. For the window, I would first check the switch, and jump the terminals to see if the switch is bad. Buying a new window regulator and paying for the labor aint cheap. My rear and passenger windows weren't working when I purchased my es, and all I did was replace the switches, then bam, it works. Before you buy the switches, jump the terminals first to make sure it's a bad switch. For the steering, not entirely sure, but definitely start with the power steering pump

To get the door slam to work, you need to be inside holding the button down w/the ignition on when you try it. just checking.
Noise can be just a really dirty pump, or binding linkage (if noise is coming from shaft and not pump area). I'd add some Seafoam to the PS reservoir, drive it a day, then flush fluid. I'd do this regardless on a 10 year old car.

Then think about ATF maintenance if you don't have history.
Good luck and welcom.
