3es Throttle Position Sensor reading only goes to 69% at WOT
I took a live reading from my scan tool of the throttle position sensor percentage. At the pedal in its normal positIon, it reads about 9%. At the pedal all the way down, it reads at 70%. This is when the car is in accessory mode(engine off). I have searched this forum, as well as other forums, and couldn't find a how-to on calibrating this specific throttle position sensor. What would you guys recommend on bringing the reading to hit 100%, or as close to it as possible? Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing there is going to be slight offset due to the fact that it is a cable operated throttle. Maybe cleaning the throttle body (probably won't help) or check the throttle cable tension. Mine's slightly slack atm.

Well I know that it's supposed to be at least 82% from the factory. I have no issues, but I would like to have the max performance when desired. And I tightened the cable up, and no change. It doesn't have to do with the cable. I know this, because even pushing the actual throttle body all the way up, the sensor reads only at 70/69%. There is a way to calibrate the TPS. But it's different depending on the sensor. It has to do with voltage reading, and a tiny screw or screws inside to calibrate the actual position. If no one's able to chime.in, I'll give it a go myself to adjust the screw(s), and see where the reading goes. But, anyone that has info to give, please give it.

Just to add: the throttle position sensor was replaced a few years ago. The part number was slightly off, but was still compatible with it. After the sensor was installed, I got 83% at WOT. This is really baffling me.
On top of it, I notice that there are a few sensors with different part numbers that are compatible. 89452-33030 is the one I bought and replaced. Unfortunately I don't remember the part # of the original tps that was in. But, I see 89452 33040, 89452 06020 and 89452 30150 are also compatible with this. Should I try the 33040?
Before I buy another sensor, I'm going to check for proper resistance readings on closed and open states. Also, I will take off the tps and turn it all the way clockwise, and see if it's at 70%. If it is, the sensor is bad. If it goes higher, then what could be the culprit?
UPDATE: So I pushed down on a certain part of the throttle body, and the reading went to 77%! So is something off calibration on the throttle body itself?

When I push down the throttle body(banana shaped thing) all the way, which reads 69/70%, I notice the circular part that I am pointing to in this picture is not fully all the way down. When I push THIS specific circular part I am pointing to while I am holding down the other part of the throttle body fully, the reading goes to about 77/78%. Does this mean my throttle body is either stuck, or not correctly calibrated?

Don't adjust anything those readings are normal.

Fully agree with Lexus2000's comment.
My readings are identical to yours and there is nothing wrong with my car.
At best you will miscalibrate it. At worst you would ruin it.
Either way, nothing good can come out of this.

If this is normal, then why did I get 82% about a year ago, and now 70? What if both of yours are also worn or out of calibration?
I'm not disagreeing with you both, but I'm just saying, if it's only hitting 70, why say that's normal, when there's 30% of power left to be desired?
I've seen some people say the low 80s is normal, so how is 70% normal then?
I appreciate both of your feedback, I just still feel that this lack of full potential is unsatisfying.
Ultimately, my most important question is: will the 1mz perform better ifit reached farther than 70%? I don't see why it wouldn't .
