the air conditioner went out yesterday I lowered the temp till it said cold and and now it will not change and the air is not cold what does someone like me who knows nothing about cars do about this I don't think it is a tough fix just need some help thanks

Does the A/C button blink when engaged? It may not be a tough fix but given your background A/C work is not the best place to start. A/C repair requires hooking up the system to a manifold gauge set to check high and low side pressure as a first step. Do you have a friend or family member that maintains their own car?
