2013 is250 wheels on a 96' es300. What?! - New Wheels!
So i got these wheels from a guy in Puyallup Washington for around $140 ($35 per wheel) they had the tires on them with about 50% tread for 2 of them and about 50% with shoulder wear on the others from lack of rotation. 2 of the wheels have a bit of curbing, but nothing deeper than 1/16th of a inch.
They are a -2.08% for my spedo.
New wheels are 225/45R17
Old wheels are 205/65R15
They ride amazing and I hope to have this car for a long time.
anyways, I love the look they put on my car from what it was originally, and have no issue with the curbing that is on the wheels, being that they are aluminum silver I can get a touch up kit and fix it for a minimal price.
I ended up having to purchase some 1/2 inch spacers for the rear wheels as the tires were rubbing against a spring (only drove 20 feet). spacers cost me $18 at the auto parts shop which my neighbor was nice enough to drive me to.
So here is what I've got now.
just a simple picture I took whilst pumping gas. After not washing or Detailing her for almost 2 weeks, my Eagle 1 Wax-as-u-dry is keeping her pretty.
something a big more enjoyable whilst pumping gas.
close up on front drivers wheel, still at gas station.
What my car looked like after tinting the passenger windows and after washing her 2 months ago.
after Plasti dipping the wheels because my cousin who owns a 08 escalade and we detail out cars together used some bad compound and took the clear-coat off of my wheels.
Better shot of my Plasti Dipped wheels. Blacked out BEAST.
I haven't had a chance to Detail or even wash my car since getting these wheels put on but I will be posting some better pictures after I go to my cousins place on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Wheels look great, albeit the tires a tad small for the car. Don't plasti-dip them this time
What kind of spacer did you use for the rear, a generic or hub-centric with longer lugs?

the diameter is basically the same froom the wheel/tire swap. Only a -2.08% difference in speed, that's like 2 cm.
and the reason I plastic dipped the old ones was cause my cousin used oven cleaner on them and ruined the clearcoat.
ended up spending $14 on 2 cans of plastic dip and they turned out ok.
Spacers are about a 1/2 inch
