Running to cool! 1999 lexus es 300
My 1999 Lexus es 300 has an engine cool (cold) code! Trans shifts only after car very warmed up!
It takes forever to warm past 150 degrees on a 70 degree day! Thermostat
seem to be working. Only checked at idle engine speed! Any ideas? How do I warm it up! Have new 180 degree thermostat on the way! Ps Heater is cool to warm only! Thanks

my car has a brand new radiator, and coolant, and needs a fan switch/ sensor both radiator fans running at full speed 100% of the time. It's never cool, warm perhaps, certainly not hot, and it's never produced a code to that effect.
where do you live ? (country & area)
Is your radiator hot or warm ?
does the temp gauge on the dash move at all ?
have you tested the temperature of the engine's coolant ?
have you tested the temperature of the engine block ?
