I just have only a key. I want to have one more key, but dealer is very expensive to make the key
Can you give me any idea to have a cheap key for my car?
And about what accesories i need for my car. Do you know where to find good and cheap leather cover front and rear sit?

Default Key Information

Good Morning and welcome,

I've owned my 2003 ES300 for only a month and I'm learning more every day. My car came with two keys. One with the remote that opens the door locks and trunk from a distance and a valet key. The valet key will only work in the driver's door lock and the ignition. It will not work in the glove box lock or the pass thru hatch to the trunk. If your key will unlock and lock the glove box then you have a master key. DON'T LOSE IT or you''ll be at the mercy of the dealer to "flash" the relevant computer in your car. From your picture you have a master key that does not have the remote control. I purchased a working duplicate master key without the remote control feature for only $24.89 delivered. I got it from an ebay seller called 1010keys. They are located in San Francisco and their service is great. They will send you a new cut key based on the key code you provide or from a picture of your key. I was skeptical when I emailed a picture of my key but the key they sent worked perfectly in all the locks. Now you may have heard that the keys have a "chip" in them that must be programmed or they won't work in the ignition lock. That is true but the car can do the programming. It sounded crazy to me but 1010keys sent me the procedure and I programmed the key on the second try and I now have two master keys. I have ordered another key, a "wallet key". I'm not sure if the ES300's were delivered with these keys, but I want to have one. The wallet key is a plastic card which has a cut out for a flat metal key which will open the door if you get locked out. You can start the car with it by holding the plastic card near the ignition and turning the flat metal key. I paid less than $35 and will program the chip when it arrives. You may want to have a key with the remote or a valet key. 1010keys can make those too. I don't know the cost. I want to make it clear that I have no financial stake in 1010keys, I'm just a very pleased customer.

Default Replacement master key

I would suggest that you send a picture of your key as well as the key code you have. There is always a possibility that locks were changed to a different key code. From the picture of the key they can tell you the key code.

I just received my wallet emergency key yesterday and programmed it easily. See attached picture.

Good luck,

Henry:

You don't need to know the key code. 1010keys made a key for me from a picture of my key. They told me what the key code is so now I have it. All you have to do is send them a picture of the key. You can find them on ebay. They can make any key for your Lexus. Just do a search for "Lexus key" on ebay and you'll see their postings.
