Headlight goes off but I can turn it back on
Lately my front left headlight has been going out after a while of driving. This is a ES330 with the HID system. I had a spare D2S bulb lying around from 2 years ago and replaced it and now it goes out after 30 seconds. Gotta switch off the lights and back on to get it working. What the hell is doing on? I have some new bulbs coming in the mail.

Well a couple of years ago I changed the from right bulb from a pair I bought off Amazon. That one was whiter than the left one. Now that I put the left one in the color is the same. I have 2 new bulbs coming today that I will put in.

I got one new bulb installed and so far it doesn't cut off. At least not from running the engine for a good 10 minutes in the driveway. I'll report later if the light goes out. BTW holy crap getting the lights replaced is a pain.

Honestly I thought our lights were pretty easy to change. Just pull out the whole headlight housing and work on it then. I recently changed the headlights in my mom's GMC Acadia and you had to remove the front tires, front plastic wheel wells, and loosen the bumper. Now that was a pain.
