just bought a 97 es300 and have a few questions.
first and foremost, hi there! Name is Robert and i currently reside in southern california.
so i just picked up a 97 es300 and have a few questions. hopefully someone here can help.
- Will 00-01 tail lights work on the 97 model?
- what year es rims are compatible with mine; if any, what mods are required?
- i plan on getting a touch screen nav/entertainment console. any recommendations?
thanks for any and all help. i look forward to putting this project in the works!
once i get on my phone, i will snap a few pictures of the car.

First and foremost, welcome to the club! Post up some pictures of your ride if you get a chance, we'd love to see it!
1. Yes, they are a direct fit.
2. The rims on my car came from an 2012 ES350, direct fit, I used a 3mm spacer in the rear just to be safe. I have heard any newer year of the ES is almost, if not a direct fit for our cars. People have made IS and GS rims fit but I have no idea how well those fit.
3. I kept my stock head unit so I can't help you there. But if you find one that looks good, I might change my mind!

i was looking at your transformation thread and must say, you have a flawless build! the rims go perfectly with the ride. are you on stock or aftermarket suspension?
will post pictures once im out of work and on my phone.

I wouldn't say flawless but nevertheless, thanks for the compliments! I redid my suspension with all OEM struts earlier this summer, I just love the smooth ride too much to give it up for a couple inches of drop.
