We just purchased the car a couple of weeks ago and it has the navigation system that tilts up and out to reveal the cd/cassette player. It is before Blue Tooth or audio jacks were installed. The hubby has researched what products would work. He is looking at a blue tooth wireless device that is installed behind the dash board to create a wireless signal so we can play music from our phone or Ipod.

He is also considering changing out the whole nav / radio system for a newer one that has the audio jack or blue tooth in it.

The other option is to somehow connect an audio jack or blue tooth inside the console where the six cd changer is.

Has anyone else done this in a 2003. My main concern is messing up the beautiful wood and leather on the dash board. If he does this, he will be sleeping in the boat house for at least a year. Please help my husband stay out of the boathouse.

If you use the search feature you will find 10 to 15 threads on this over the last year - that should give you two ideas and options.

I noted recently there have been some members who can't get full functionality out of the GROM unit - (cd changer disabled, I believe). So be aware there are some hiccups with different units out there.

I've been trying to search for the type of navigation system we have. It seems bigger than all the ones I've looked at on here and I can't find anything about putting an audio jack in the console with the cd changer. The hubby is going to investigate this weekend and see if it's even possible.
