So my car (01 ES300 Coach with factory HID lamps) developed an annoying squeak coming from the back end. You hear it going over any kind of bump, big or small. When making turns,etc.

I thought it's gotta be the suspension with the car approaching 160k, but my brother said to check the headlight auto leveling sensor(s) because his GS430 had the same issue in the past.

Has anyone else encountered this? What's a good fix for it without bringing it to Lexus and getting your wallet raped.

check this thread... I had a squeaking sound on my 98 es300 and after changing the bushings mentioned in the below thread, it is gone... may be u have similar issue

I had the same issue and fixed mine. I will post the thread tomorrow on how I fixed it.
