Default New here, 03 es300.

Just picked up my ES last week! It's an 03 es300, 142k miles, traded in by original owner at Lexus dealership, maintenance records, well kept. I paid a little too much for it but I think it was worth it considering it is one owner and in great shape! Sold my 02 acura rsx type s 6spd with 176k for about the same price I paid, not bad.

I have already installed leds for the courtesy (door), license plate, and the front parking lights. Still waiting on H3 yellow bulbs for fogs and my dome leds to come in but not sure what the bulb is for the map light right next to the sunroof. Anyone know? It didn't show on sylvania replacement quide.

Plans right now are just leds, yellow fogs, clear corners, 6k hids w/06 tsx projector retrofit, led tail lights, lip spoiler, nice set of wheels (18s), light tint, and an audio upgrade. Any recommendations?

Congrats on the purchase. That's one HUGE jump between a ricey 6 speed RSX and a Lexus ES you did there...

I think the bulb sizes you need for the map lights are BA9S

They look like this:

Lip spoiler would be nice, I installed one from eBay on my ES a few months ago:

You can pull out the bulb in the map light to confirm.

Why do a projector retro when you can just get Lexus HID headlights? Or even post-face lift 2005-06 lights? Also 05-2006 ES tail lights might be a nice upgrade too.

Make sure you maintenance is up to date including the timing belt.

Thanks! Yes it was haha. Thanks for the bulb size, that's the one! I pulled it out when I did the door led just to see what it looked like.

Nice video, I was going to order the same one off eBay! I helped my buddy install one on his IS a while back. Definitely doing it now, looks great on there! Only reason I was going to do the retrofit is because I already have the tsx projectors/housing/hardware but I might just try to find some oem 05-06 lights instead. I made sure timing belt was serviced, it was a deal breaker

Got all my leds this morning and installed them pretty quick. I accidentally ordered the wrong quantity, so if anyone wants to swap leds also lmk I can sell the extras. Here is my little update, looks much better: h3 yellow fogs on the way!

I agree, very clean. I can't wait to see your led tails. They give the car a much better look imo

I agree. I see you made the outer circle part of the tail light red, how'd you do that?

Thanks guys!

I used red vinyl for taillights, did it before on my rsx and genesis a while back.
