Default '05 ES330 - REAR heated seats?

Simple question. Can I add rear heated seats to my car?

Not easily. You could hack something together, but in the end it might be simpler to sell it and get a similar vintage LS430 with them pre-installed.

I wonder if you could swap LS430 seats (or at least the seat bottom) to gain a heater function...

You could add a seat heater coil but it would require re-upholstering the leather seat cushions.

I really like the late model 300/330. What the heck do you need with rear seat heaters in Arizona? (unless you live in Flagstaff?)

I once spent a Thanksgiving, desperately searching for a motel, south of Flagstaff on motorcycle. 26F it said. Second worst experience (besides crashing) on a bike next to a September in Montana (snowed for two days).

So yeah. I can see wanting warmth in AZ.

After sitting at a desk all day for work, those heated seats feel SO therapeutic on my sore back. I can't really notice a difference with the ventilated seat on, but I can feel the heat.

I hear you.

15+ years ago, I had some real shoulder problems; various sports injuries bilaterally. Developed into back issues. I worked a desk job all day in NYC. Sometimes, I'd just get in my Audi and crank the heater and go drive. Was as good as a massage or chiro visit.
