Default For anyone who replaced dogbone engine mount-- did you notice any design change?

I replaced the dogbone engine mount (part was purchased from a lexus dealer on ebay) for my 2002 es300. The part fit perfectly without issues. However, the original mount has an additional rectangular piece (about 2"x1/2"x1/2") shaped like an eraser that is riveted to one side. The new mount does not have this appendage.

I emailed the seller who says the replacement part is from the factory so must be a design change.

Anybody else notice a difference when replacing the mount?

Thanks.

I replaced mine last month ("Torque Strut"). It was like yours, missing that rectangular weight or dampening unit (I imagine it's a dampening unit).

Since mine was broken (forward rubber bushing cracked), I can't say if they perform the same, but I imagine so. I bought mine also off ebay; it was vastly cheaper than the dealer part (like, <$20 vs. $100+). I think NAPA and the local O'Reillys wanted $90-ish for it. So the "oe-equivalent" piece on ebay was pretty compelling.

This is the part I bought:
