I have a 98 Es300 with a factory radio. It makes a high pitch noise whenever the radio is on, whether the car is on or not. It does get louder when accelerating tho. Playing around with the radio, I found that the noise stops when I unplug the antenna plugs from the back of the head unit. So for now i have a radio....with no radio, just because I cant stand the noise. CDs play fine without any noises now, but it'd sure be nice to have both. Any ideas what could be causing this? And anything I can do about it? Thanks

Also, there's a pop sound that happens every time I turn off the radio. Nothing when I turn it on tho. Any remedy for this also? Thanks again
