door handle - drivers side
The linkage on my 1998 ES 300 separated from the handle. I replaced the plastic snap that secures the linkage to the door handle in February . The new snap did not look identical to the original but the Lexus parts person said that was a the correct replacement. It has now separated from the handle. Does anyone have any experience /advice on how to reconnect the linkage and snap.

The same thing happened to me a few months ago. I bought part # 69293-12040 from the Toyota delaership and it worked great. thanks for the reply. I believe the original replacement part from Lexus was defective. The part i got from Toyota today worked like a charm. Both had the same part number.
