Woot !!!!!

It's well built and very capable but it's totally manual. It requires skill and patience but does get the job done.

My first order of business was to try and fix the key that ACE Hardware mangled. The guy who cut it didn't have a fuggin' clue. It ended up not cut deep enough. He tried to tell me the blank was thicker than the original and that was when I realized he was clueless. Anyway, getting things adjusted just right was a little work and I had to re cut the mangled key 3 times before it would physically go into the ignition but finally I got it right. I held my breath when I turned it and when it in fact turned and turned on the ignition my face lit up in a smile. Of course I still need to program it. I have the Techstream SW and the Toyota cable but from what I gather I'll need a dongle to unlock the part that programs the key and ECU. Hmmmm, I wonder what that costs.

I wouldn't want to cut keys with this thing on a regular basis but for the occasional cut for family or friends, it's perfect. It does indeed work as advertised and is worth the $195 I paid for it. Hell, that's 2 keys cut by the Lexus Stealer.

The key programmer just arrived and I cut a master blank and programmed it myself. It's all gravy from here on.

Could you post some pictures of your setup? That's really cool.
