A jerk when i hit the gas
When i start to brake in my 02 es,then I'll hit the gas in the car wil jerk slightly, one of my motor mounts needs to be replaced, could this be that?

I had an '02 ES, and that's the reasonI got rid of it after 3 years of ownership and MANY resets and even after installing new firmware which Lexus offered. I'd had enough.
It was the only issue with the car, but persistent enough to drive me away..

If the jerk is coming from the transmission (accompanied by a rise in the RPM's), then its the DBW throttle problem that plague the 4ES.
If the jerk is mechanical, and perhaps accompanied by a sound or sharp jolt, I'd suspect the engine mounts, control arm bushings or CV joints.
