Hello all...I recently acquired a 93 ES300 ..... 80K miles, beyond immaculate condition. It has been religiously maintained, auto tranny rebuilt etc. The only issue I have found is a bit of a clunk when shifting into drive from park (and back) and some tranny slop on/off throttle in stop and go traffic. Once underway, there isn't any noticeable slop. Motormounts were replaced early on.
I realize a tranny rebuild ensures nothing. What are your thoughts? Are these symptoms indicative of a worn auto tranny mount?

Take a look at your motor mounts, and torque strut. Open the hood and have someone hold the brake and shift while you observe.
