won't start
Plz help me!
I have a 02 es300 & my car won't start. I was told tha the alternator was going bad so I had it replaced. The car still won't start even after determining that the new alternator is good. So, then I had the, starter replaced. No luck! Next, I purchased a new battery. no luck either. Car Lights work inside and out however, the radio & windows aren't working either. The car does not make a sound when I try to start it. I've never had this problem. Anyone, Please help, help, help! Thxs

With no radio or windows, check for blown fuses.
There is a blinking security light near the climate control panel. Does that light extinguish when you insert the key in the ignition? If it still blinks with key in the ignition then the security system is not recognizing the key and the car won't start.
Did you try to start the car with the shifter in neutral? This could be a neutral safety switch issue.
Check for 12 volts at the solenoid feed with the key in the start position. The starter relay supplies the voltage to the solenoid from the ignition switch.

check your cables first. a bad cable could easily be at the root of your troubles. look at the starter cable and see if it is frayed. run motor at 2000rpm with fan on high, rear defrost on and measure the drop over the starter cable. clean the ground wire then find if under the same load conditions, the battery voltage increases when you attach a jumper cable from the motor to the negative battery post.
