I have this code p0141 will this hurt performance or gas mileage?

P0141 is the heated oxygen sensor has a slow response (B1S2). Depending on how old your car is and if they've ever been changed, the problem is its probably starting to malfunction.

This will definitely have an impact on gas milage. How much? Can't really say because it depends on the condition of your engine and and if the ECM was learning values from a malfunctioning sensor. Since this was the only code thrown, I wouldn't expect the difference to be much as the values stored in memory were within specification.
