Default Just got some SC430 Wheels for $100!

:::::::::::: (I'm posting here because these rims will be installed on my 99 coach ES300 just in case you're wondering):::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Anyway, I'm still tripping off the fact I was at the right place at the right time. On Ebay I grabbed a set of 4 Sc430 wheels with 2 tires(50% tread left) for 99.99 before shipping. I already have the covers. So all I'll have to do is grab some lug nuts and the remaining two tires. I must be lucky tonight. A couple months ago I lost in a nasty bidding war by 3 seconds where the set went for $625.00 with no tires. The funny fact is that the dealer still wants like 1500 for the same set before tires and all that other good stuff. I know one place I wont' go for parts

Well I can't be too bad! There was another set for sale that ended one hour before mine did that went for 187.50 so I guess tonight wasall about good timing for both of us. I even went on and picked up a set of Valeo HID projectors for $60.00 to do my new xenon retrofit to this car. If you know them, you know they run for about 200 a set now. (www.hidplanet.com/forums) Anyhow I'm now looking for some tires. I hear Kumho ECSTA ASX 245/40/18s are good. Any others you guys recommend?

I was biting my nails thinking someone else was gonna come in and bid the price to like 500 or something but no one saw the auction. The only thing is that they have a small amount of curb rash and 2 have tiny bends in them that the seller says can be fixed easily. Anyhow, I've got pics from the auction but I'm not sure if we can post Ebay links here. I doubt it.

I think the sc430 rims look awesome on the ES. You should try getting the new center caps for them; they make the ES look even hotter. A transformer if you will

Oh that was you hehe. I was like who is this when I checked my email this morning. I think I saw another set going for around the same price afterwards as well. That would bring the total to three sets of SC430 wheels slipping under the radar. MAybe thursday is low traffic day...hmm All I know is that the set that sold 1 hour before mine went for like 187.50 but that one had the circle center caps and like 1 rim with road rash or something. Gotta love Ebay. If you look hard enough, you'll find one of these kind of deals. A month ago I got a wood LS430 steering wheel for 68.00!

Are you planning to put that into your '99 ES? I don't even know if the LS airbag fits with our ES, but if it does, then all the better to install the wheel. Let us know

Will do. Otherwise it'll be up for sale here in the classified or up for trade for a 97-01 ES wood wheel (by the way if anyone want to trade up...let me know)

HEy I need help Nixsun79. Do we need spacers for these rims to fit on our cars? If so where can I get them and how much do they run? Also, where can I find the lug nuts to fit on them? I think I may need the smaller screws to attach the circular caps as well now that I think about it.
Oh and I picked up the other 2 Dunlop runflat tires for 122.50 +35 shipped. They're brand new same as OEM!
