In-Dash Navigation
Hello,
I am new to the Lexus family and the forum, as I just got my 2005 ES330 with navigation, but without the Mark Levinson system. I have searched the forum and have seen that some people have switched out the stock navigation system for aftermarket ones and would like some input on them. I want to switch it out because I am not a huge fan of the Lexus navigation, I want Bluetooth integrated into the car, and I would like a AUX and USB hookup, as well as possibly hooking up a back-up camera.
I know there are a ton of options out there, and I am not that knowledgeable on the different in-dash navigations that are out there. I know there are a ton of different models, but I would appreciate any recommendations that the forum could provide for me. I am currently looking at the Clarion NX603, but I am not sure if there is a better model for me. I am also not looking to spend $1000 on the navigation unit itself, so I was trying to stick below $600.
I also just recently moved to Queens, NY and have no idea where I can go to have the installation done, so if there are any members in NY that can recommend a installation shop, please do.
Thank you so much for your help!

Install an interface kit like a GROM, then use the navigation in your phone via Bluetooth. Google Maps is always better than any in-car system, as the maps are constantly updated, as is the interface.
