I'm trying to figure out where I can find a replacement part for this hose. I would like a factory replacement, as it has a particular shape to it, but I can't find a diagram on Sewell. Let me know if you're familiar with this. It goes from the Canister to the Air Filter Box.









p.s.: Found a crap load of leaves in my air box. Possibly a nest.

just get one of those air intake vaccum hoses and be done with it.

I'm personally doubtful in buying 'NOS' lexus parts... especially for these old relics.

Would probably as brittle as yours!

There are three part numbers for that piece. The first one is for a 4-cylinder, the other two are for a V6.

Is it

HOSE, AIR, NO.6. CANISTER SIDE; NO.2
17346-20030

or

HOSE, AIR, NO.6. (J); 3WAY SIDE; NO.1; NO.1,(J)
17346-20010?


Lastly, if I wanted to replace all vacuum lines in the engine bay. How many types of hoses are there and how much would it roughly cost from the dealer? I would like to keep the stock look. I noticed there are very thin lines and thicker lines. I'm guessing thin lines are used to activate valves and thicker lines are for venting gases. I would like to replace all the thin lines, if possible.

Why do you want to replace all the vacuum lines? If you really want to do that using new parts, then you can order them from Toyota.

I have a related question:

The nipple from the air box sensor to which this vacuum line in question connects is broke off and no longer able to be secured to the sensor/valve on the airbox. What exactly would be the consequence of this? I'm looking to get the device replaced so I can secure the line to it but haven't noticed any difference in performance and don't feel like throwing down $70 for an OEM replacement at the moment.

I actually came across your original thread when looking for an answer. I have yet to figure out what that connection is for and how it affects the car's performance.

I would assume that this pipe is used for venting gas fumes into the air intake after they pass through the canister. So if you're not hooked up, you're releasing them under the hood.

If it's the hose I'm thinking of, I forgot to connect it after doing some work on the car. It took about 3 weeks but I eventually got a CEL, can't remember the code something to do with evap.
