I have a 2003 ES300, when I cross the slightest bump there is a BUMP-BUMP in the back end of the car. I have shook, pulled, pushed and twisted every thing I can with the car setting on the ground. What next? I'm sure its in a thread here somewhere. Great car my wife loves it and with just 100,000 miles its has a lot of life left.

Stabilizer bar bushings most likely. Common problem on this 'type' of care (Avalon/camry/ES300 of the same year). It's and easy DIY, and they are cheap.

I have a bump on my 04 ES in the rear of and was told it was the strut "fluttering". Car has 110,000 miles. I have 3 ES cars, two 04 and one 02, the other 04 has 44000 miles, and the 02 137500 miles, all great cars. hope this helps, I am going to look at the stabilizer bushings, local shop told my wife about the strut, might go back and have them look at the bushing, no charge to check the strut.
