Rattling noise in front end when driving over small bumps?

That's a pretty bad crack in that picture. Unbolt it and inspect the part. As mentioned before, you do not need to support the engine, it simply sits in place.

Artbuc, it's definitley cracked all the way through (see pic below). I took the dog bone out today and put a new one in. It was a relatively cheap and simple job. It cost $40 and took about 15 minutes of my time. It seems to have solved one of the rattles I heard in the front end. The remaining noises appear to be the strut mounts, which I'll be tackling when I replace the struts next month. Thanks again for everyone's advice on here!

Is this something that an 04 would have a problem with?

It's worth checking. A lot of FWD Transverse engines come with a "dogbone" mount.

i looked around this morning didnt really see anything that look like that, turned out i was busy trying to make sure that i had the bottom nut tight on the sway bar which lead me to not tighten the top one which made a lot more noise

Did the dogbone mount line up properly when it was changed? I'm asking because I just looked at mine and there's nothing left in it. I just picked up a new mount.
