I added it to the photo album link on the top of the club lexus page. It's under my 1990 lexus es250.

Beautiful car, love it I've always wanted an ES250 but could never find one.

Looks very nice. What happened to you trunk? It appears to be sticking up in one corner.

It's seems to be a fault of this year. I need to find new trunk hinges. Apparently the same year camry hinges may work.

All the ES250's have the same problem, yours is actually mild. I don't think you can get the hinges from Lexus anymore so you'll have to repair them yourself. The hinges are not at all like on the Camry,

Thanks for the info. I've been trying to figure a way to repair it myself. I'm sure a washer would help but they are riveted in. So I'm not sure if there's some kind of epoxy or grease that I could put around the rivet where there is play. Any ideals?

Yeah, my ES250 had the drivers side rear trunk lid pop up almost 3 inches. Much worse that what's pictured here. Surprisingly no water ever leaked in, the gasket did it's job.

I have never looked closely at those hinges, but if I had to guess to repair them the rivets would have to be drilled out. Then you'd add metal to the worn parts by welding, then drill to restore the original shape/hole.
