2005 ES330 gas consumption
#16
Come on guys. This car is located in Ontario Canada! Its freaking FREEZING out there.
Average speed 45km/h or 28mph. Here is your answer. If the car sits at the stop light - guess what - you will get 0mpg.
Post average temperatures during observed period (archived temp data is located here)
If you drive stop and go in sub zero (Celsius) freezing temps you WILL get the worst mileage possible.
Avg driving speed vs miles per gallon:
Fuel economy vs temperature (Toronto): This is data from a 2003 Corolla CE, collected between Jan. 2009 and Nov. 2010. Each data point is the fuel efficiency for one tank of gasoline at the time of the refueling. The trips consist mostly of a mix of highway and city driving with about 60% highway by time traveled. Data points from long highway-only trips have been removed. The month and day of the fill-up is plotted, with the year ignored, so the resulting graph is cyclical with a period of one year.
